Its weakness of our own soul which compel us to do anything against our own intellectuality ! We cant, really say about those acts that we were following our heart at that time. NO! In fact we make a bit mistake in judging the situation. Its actually temptation in many cases, and not the heart which force us to do many things against our own wish! Heart always goes with good, kind and right things but temptation is very selfish, in other words we can say that it always goes with the means of pleasure and comfort. Unfortunatly most of the evils are very tempting...and austerity is very hard to earn/attain. So in the middle path what we can do is, avoiding the situations, avoiding that particular thinking for that moment, avoiding that kind of conditions as much as possible. Don't let anything come just like that in to your mind, don't acknowledge your mind and heart about that, don't even let you know about your temptations because if you will think about it, wheather its against or in favour of yourself,,,,,its always has a dragging effects! Temptation will drag you in its webby arms and then it will be difficult for you to come out of it. So avoidance, in my opinion, is the best remedy to avoid unwanted temptations.
